The course is taught exclusively online with modern elearning tools and technical educational infrastructure. The platform mainly used is zoom and skype but also others such as google meet, ms teams, webex. Each student logs on to the link I send and participates in the teleconference of the particular course. In addition, I have specialized software used with screen sharing during the course such as electronic whiteboard, calculators, statistical packages, etc., for a better learning experience. Also, in each course, supportive booklets are distributed which are created exclusively each time for the needs of each student according to the material to be covered.

The hours required for the preparation of each university course vary according to the needs and level of each student, and are therefore determined on a case-by-case basis.

The cases of students, in my experience, from previous years are numerous. Some, I remember, asked me to do very few hours (4-6) because they just wanted me to remind them of some things and to solve some questions they had on the exercises, as they had done their own preparation and had study a lot or had previously taken the course before, so they had experience of exams and topics and just needed a refresh. Others, which is the majority, asked me to do 8 - 10 hours as they had a little exposure to the course and knew the basics from their school but wanted to focus a lot on solving exercises and preparing for the exam. Of course, there were many cases of students with whom we did much more hours, who had no background with the course at all, with significant gaps, and needed a lot of preparation and help until they understood the course (theory and exercises) and were ready for the exam.

Initially, this is evident from our initial email communication, where I have an initial idea of the situation and see the material that each student wants to cover. I then might offer the first lesson, lasting one hour, for this very reason. Through this lesson I get to know the students better, they explain their goals, we discuss how to achieve their desired outcome and a study plan is created. In this way, I understand the level they are at, their background and the knowledge they have on the subject matter of the course. In this way, the hours of private lessons that will be required to prepare for the exam are also determined.

The fee for the course is 30 euros per hour. Payment is made electronically after the end of each hour of a private lesson.

The total number of lesson hours required and therefore the total cost of preparing a lesson for the exam is determined during our initial contact and at the first introductory lesson.
